(Please note this is a past event). Join the actors, directors and writers of Polarity Ensemble Theatre for food, spirits (of the drinking kind first) and a preview of our upcoming shows. We'll have three hours of free food and open bar (YES, I said OPEN BAR) from 6 pm to 9 pm that includes more than enough grazing to constitute a meal, as well as beer, wine, and mixed drinks with well liquor. Plus get some great prizes and bargains in our silent auction and raffle. Starting at 8 pm, we'll have a Polarity Preview, introducing the company and performing scenes from our upcoming productions. We'll have a scene from Ghost Watch, a chilling and sexy supernatural thriller, written and directed by PET Artistic Director Richard Engling. Next up are songs from Singing in the Grave: The Musical Comedy of Death, book and lyrics by Richard Engling, music by Greg Silva. And finally, a montage of scenes including a sword-fight to live drums from Hamlet: A Tragedy in Rock adapted and directed by PET Managing Director Ann Keen with music composed by a pair of local rock gods. After the show, stay and drink and talk with us. We'll slip into cash bar time at 9 pm--including a variety of drink specials for The Spot's First Anniversary Celebration--and as the night goes on, we'll put on the music and dance! |
